I accidentally put my son's blog post of his blog below on this cancer trail blog while trying to add the info on a blogger app on my phone during his music class. I decided to keep it here so I can remember how we try to keep normal routines for him during this cancer trail.
We homeschool all his academics -- so one on one in the morning. In the afternoon he has his community classes with other kids. When we return we have 'homework'. We work in the zone -- we do what's easy for him plus we push the threshold by adding new info related to info he's learned. I have a spreadsheet for the year that I created during the summer; the pages I printed in a spiral-bound book with 36 tabs for the year. I check-off items covered on one page; on a second page I just list the items we covered each day. For the blog, I just cut/paste from the spreadsheet. So it's pretty much organized already for the year. Since we both need routines, it works for us, we love it. We are so very proud of him and how far he's come. His blog: www.christopherdays.com
